NOH8 CampaignThe NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with "NOH8" painted on one cheek in protest. |

![]() Get Your Jeans OffGET YOUR JEANS OFF was a charity event created by Kelly Killoren Bensimon and sponsored by Samsung, Hanes, ELLE magazine, Polo jeans corp, and Calvin Klein. Instead of donating to a chairty, Bensimon chose to také charity to another level." I wanted to sell something that was fun, but also that not everyone could have, so I called everyone that I knew and asked and begged them to sign a pair of jeans, and then we put them in plexiglass frames, and sold them as art." One of the autographed jeans was a donated painting by artist Julian Schnabel, jean shorts by Yoko Ono, and a pair of autographed sneakers by basketball superstar, Michael Jordan. When Peter Arnell of the Arnell Group, known for creating campaigns such as DKNY, saw the content, he created for Bensimon a catalogue raisone of all the items. Arnell later won an award for the catalogue which featured a "scratch and sniff" on the cover that smelled like denim. The event held at Bridgehampton Polo in Bridghampton, NY raised over six figures and created an exclusive database for the charity, Hale House, which at that exclusive database for the charity, Hale House, which at that time homed Harlem infants who were born addicted to drugs and alcohol, and whom were inflicted with HIV.

DecoratedAfter the success of GET YOUR JEANS OFF, Kelly Killoren Bensimon wanted to create the ultimate garage sale in order to help the charity Hale House raise funds and awareness. The event hosted by Bensimon and friend Stephanie Seymour Brant, and Lorraine Kirke, and MERCEDES BENZ. Bensimon asked her fashion friends to donate items to the charity which were to be sold by silent auction only. Some of the coveted items ranged from a Cartier watch to a vintage four poster bed. Bensimon even had jeans which were embellished with everything from feathers to beads. Swaroski crystals donated crystals which were made into amazing bracelets and sold by the thousands. There was even a vintage four tear crystal chandlier, which was actually purchased by Bensimon's older sister. The event was held at the Bridgehampton Polo and attended by Hamptons super stars like Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons, and Julianne Moore.
