The list this year is longer, as the actresses are having more fun with the idea of being movie stars. And, why not be proud of being a woman and having curves, allure, and confidence. Congrats to my favorite looks for the Oscars. For the record, I never thought brunettes should wear lipstick, but I may try red myself soon.

Yes, Zac Posen and Target got married for a minute. It’s a 24-hour shopping mad house with an opening filled with “The Like” jamming and rock girl Theodora Richards. Fashion designers Tracy Feith, Alexandra Posen, Patricia Field, and of course Zac himself were there to celebrate. Celebs and models such as Maggie Gyllenhaal, Claire Danes, Selma Blair, Mena Suvari, and Coco Rocha all showed their support. Even ELLE magazine’s Joe Zee was kickin’ it!
Congrats, Zac! He was my first interview I ever did on TV. I thought I’d share a personal picture I took of him for my book, American Style, love the pose! I love that man and his family. Congrats on bringing Zac to a great price point, Target. Oh, and I forgot my credit card. Can you imagine?
“I didn’t even drink coffee yet,” said Erin Lucas of The City before I interviewed her for my US Weekly vjing gig. Its 10 a.m. and we are back at the Bryant Park tents for the Badgley Mischka show. Vjing for US Weekly has been such an amazing opportunity for I love celebrating those who work hard and who are creative. Even Christina Hendricks of Mad Men agreed with me. It was her first runway show and she was so excited to celebrate the designers that she wore one of their new rings to pay homage to the new line of jewelry, which is really spectacular and embellished beyond normal jewelry standards. Even actress Annalynne Mccord sat in the front row decked to the nines in the latest and greatest. Not only did I get a chance to talk to those who love the red carpet Oscaresque dresses (especially the red sequin), but also half way through the show we all got to see the new Marc and James collection, which was filled with “sexy in the city,” as celebrity stylist Phillip Block called it. Hot, short, embellished, and ready for day or evening. We all work, but wouldn’t it be nice to through on a short hot dress to an event rather than some tired black nothing?!
After I took off vjing for US Weekly hat, I went home and took off. My thigh high boots to get comfortable before my Daily News interview. “We just want to ask you about you, oh andPlayboy and if we have time, Housewives,” said the journalist on the other end of the line. I have to be honest, it is so bizarre to be on the other side of the interview table. I am the one used to interviewing and asking the questions, so every time they ask me a question, I get thrown off. Nevertheless, it is always incredibly flattering that all of these leaps of faith I have taken are being recognized.
Jill Zarin called. “I am here, where are you?” She was at the tents backstage at the Thuy show getting her hair and makeup waiting for me. When I got there, Jill immediately introduced me to Tabatha. I was so afraid she was going to say, “Let’s cut your hair.” We all took pictures and then Jill and I were glued to the amazing dresses that flew down the runway.Thuy, a graduate of Parsons School of Design and a design asst for Zac Posen and Carolina Herrera, proved a point that women can look great and modern. All it takes it some good tailoring and a sexy aesthetic.
I hopped into the car and drove to La Guardia airport to pick up my girls from their flight. I love the glamour and excitement of Fashion Week, but I missed my girls and our life so much. The girls are back. Wooooooooooo.
