She has one of the hottest bodies in Hollywood, but can you believe former Real Housewives of New York City star Kelly Bensimon isn’t a big fan of her figure?
The 44-year-old reality TV star-turned-author — who ranked No. 51 on the Celebuzz 101 Hot Bodies countdown — revealed this and more in her exclusive video interview with Celebuzz.
Among the other tidbits: Bensimon shares her secrets to the perfect workout, which she says is more about the quality and less about the amount of time you spend getting into shape.
“A good workout is something, for me, that allows you the freedom to let your mind relax, and to release endorphins. That’s when you’re getting a good workout.”
The East Hampton Library held its annual Authors Night benefit on Aug. 11, and invited 120 authors to hawk ther books to a crowd of 1,200 picky shoppers.
Today is the first day of my new life. Like I say in my new book ‘I Can Make You Hot’, take leaps of faith and have no regrets. So, when Ron Curtis asked me to be in the movie “Innocence”, based on the book by Jane Mendelssohn, I jumped at it. Yes, I had two days away from my kids, but they both told me “go for it mommy!” I can’t tell you what lies ahead in the future but I can say I had one of the best days of my life today. Here, Kelly shares her favorite places to get gorgeous around her summer retreat in East Hampton. My favorite place to relax is Naturopathica (Red Horse Plz., 74 Montauk Hwy., East Hampton, 329-2525) in East Hampton—the massages there are amazing and take you out of the Hamptons and into pure euphoria. I also love their lavender products and their rose geranium facial spray, which is incredibly refreshing. I’ve had facials there that don’t leave you bruised or red and splotchy, but rather luminous and glowing.
When my rock star hairstylist Bradley Irion isn’t doing my color, I go to M Salon (64 Park Pl., East Hampton, 324-3036) per his orders where they color my roots only (I don’t let them take my highlights away, roots only!). I also usually beg for a quick manicure so my hair looks beachy, but my nails look clean and chic. There’s nothing worse than a woman with mangled nails, or ones that are not clean and short.
And on my way home, I always make a pit stop at White’s Pharmacy (81 Main St., East Hampton, 324-0082) where I pick up my Terax conditioner, Tweezerman to keep my brows from having a mind of their own, and Folavril perfume by Annick Goutal.

He happens to be my best friend, and has made my hair a sensation on RHONY. Noted other heads of hair include Petra Nemcova, Kirstie Alley, Lara Spencer, Tinsley Mortimer, Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Hurley, Giuliana Rancic, and many other super stars and a bevy of super models.
For an inside secret, he adds great length extentions that he actually has colored to match my own sunkissed waves for added hair during the SHAPE Sept 2011 cover and the Reunion shows of RHONY. And he’s even trimmed my dogs Fluffy’s white mane when it looked more like cat fur instead of dog fur.
His talent isn’t limited and his heart is bigger than the state of Texas. He came with me last year to Costa Rica and helped me paint a fence for a school, and braided all of the girls hair, just because. If you learn one thing from him, he’ll tell you: beauty comes from within.
