Thank you so much to Stacy Bendet who came all the way from NYC and left her little girls to host a jewelry trunk show for me, at her Southampton store . My kids are crazy about Alice + Olivia shoes. I bought many dresses for the events I’m hosting, the rest of the summer in the Hamptons. Did you see the hot dress I was wearing???? And, all my friends had a blast eating snow cones and looking at all of Alice + Olivia’s fall must haves. Many people comment on The Real Housewives of New York , on me for “showing up” for a party. Thats exactly what it is. Friends show up. I don’t expect you to be the first to come and last to arrive, but when friends make efforts to show up, I immediately recognize them as a quality person. Thanks Stacy for hosting me, and for letting my girls play in your amazing shoe closet at your store, and for being a great friend.
It doesn’t go unnoticed!

Make your purse or your weekender.
-Thongs take up less space literally
-One pair Running Shoes
-Under Armour running shorts (cute with a tee after)
-Running Bra
-White V-neck T-shirt
-Black Leggings( with ballet flats very 60s beatnik)
-Alice + Oliva Zebra Print Dress ( night/ beach)
-Ballet Flats or Heels
For a weekend of light fun, wear ballet flats to the beach. Try ballet flats with running shorts and a loose v and a pair of gold hoops, and
shop for the hottest beach read in style.
Too cool to dress up? Throw your leggings on, add a red lipstick, pony tail. No lip or black eyeliner. Heels to vamp it up or ballet flats. Hoops are a must.
Feeling flirty? Try a loose summer dress. Tight is not always hot. Don’t forget your bikini and a fun colored bra. Duane Reade has the best travel size products. Tresemme is great conditioner for beach fried ends.

Stacey Bendet took fashion to the next level. She and her stylist, Cleo Wade, drove all over America in an airstream taking the brand on the road. They had Pop-up Shops and local benefits, but shopping wasn’t what made the trip special. It was working with girls and women in need. “I cut a girl’s hair and she started to cry,” said Cleo.”It was her first haircut. She was 15 and sexually abused.” The haircut shed more than just hair and tears, but an abusive self image. Congrats Stacey and Cleo for your amazing adventure and for being so hands-on in your quest for change. The end of the tour party was held at Surf Lodge in Montauk. I was left with such warmth after hearing their stories. Stacey isn’t just dressing women, she’s changing lives. Wooooo

Happy Birthday to me! Yes I am 42 years old. I honestly can’t believe how much time has flown by. I had such a great birthday weekend. Cleo Wade who works with Stacy Bendet from Alice + Olivia hooked me up with an amazing dress, kimono, and pearls! I shared a yummy dinner at Beba in Soho, then drinks at Kenmare, and met more friends at the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel. Courtney Love had been there the night before… Ahh? She’s up there, and I am way down here!
Friday morning, I filmed a segment for EXTRA on my New York apartment. For me color reflects my personality, I love my daughter’s art as much as the professional art, and I love collecting: books, bags, murano glass, and shoes. I decorate with what I love. And, I like buying vintage and making it new. I had lunch with my daughter and my best friend at Delicatessen; where they offered me a delicious tuna tartare, something I would now recommend everyone try.
I left for Miami to stay at the Gansevoort and host a party at SET. We ate at Nobu, Phillipe, I went for a beach run, and enjoyed the ocean air. It was relaxing and I had some pure clean fun. The Delano has the best drinks and music. We danced like crazy there, and the G has fun artwork all over the club. SET was completely techno crazed and the room was SOLD OUT.
Thank you Miami for all the fun!
