So, you are probably wondering why the author of the Bikini Book is wearing a one piece. I was searching on google for some hot summer inspiration and I came across some insane pictures of Raquel Welsh in a white one shoulder one piece, and I decided to show off my assets and not my ?!!??!! Like most reality stars do.

And it just so happened my friend and owner of Maui based swimsuit company Letarte  makes a sick version of the RW white one piece.
Summer is approaching fast, so instead of trying to get thin, get Hot by eating well, living well, and wear a one piece.

How do you get the smokin hot hair of supermodels who walk runways, check out some hot tips from super stylist, Bradley Irion. He happens to be my best friend, and has made my hair a sensation on RHONY. Noted other heads of hair include Petra Nemcova, Kirstie Alley, Lara Spencer, Tinsley Mortimer, Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Hurley, Giuliana Rancic, and many other super stars and a bevy of super models.

For an inside secret, he adds great length extentions that he actually has colored to match my own sunkissed waves for added hair during the SHAPE Sept 2011 cover and the Reunion shows of RHONY. And he’s even trimmed my dogs Fluffy’s white mane when it looked more like cat fur instead of dog fur.

His talent isn’t limited and his heart is bigger than the state of Texas. He came with me last year to Costa Rica and helped me paint a fence for a school, and braided all of the girls hair, just because. If you learn one thing from him, he’ll tell you: beauty comes from within.

How would you live on 31 dollars a week? At Food Bank for New York City, they are doing their best to supplement what food stamps cannot. Since becoming the celebrity ambassador, I wanted to learn everything about food insecurity, especially why and how it effects the New York City community. Here are five quick tips I’ve learned for being proactive when it comes to the issue:

1. Vertical farming is chic and versatile. Replace that dry window sill plant with something fragrant that can also be used in cooking. My favorites are mint and basil.

2. If vertical farming isn’t your forte, engage with friends and start a community garden. Spend weekends harvesting and at the end, walk away with TONS of home-grown produce.

3. Shop smart and local. Buy in-season produce at local farmer’s markets. It will help save you the price spike of food miles and support local businesses.

4. Host a casual (thrifty) dinner party with friends. Divide up the menu and make sure no dish costs more than the other to make and share. Exchange dishes and leftovers.

5. If you can shell out 100 dollars (or any amount) on beer for your party friends, go green! That is, take a weekend off from partying (see my cleanse video) and purchase 100 dollars of fresh fruit or vegetables. Then, donate to Food Bank for NYC – they need the support.
