Kraziness & Khloe

When I am not Super Mom and driving the girls all over the city to their activities, I am in the press mode for my March Playboy cover and the new season of RHNYC.

I was invited to a Three Olives vodka party hosted by Khloe Kardashian. It was a rainy cold night and the girls wanted me to stay home for a popcorn party and french quiz (I test them in french as a fun way to keep the language going), but I went to the party for a quick hour after they went to bed. I posed with oranges (not hot guys, yes oranges) and spoke to press about RHNYC. Everyone asks me the same questions. The plots of RHNYC are hilarious, but I don’t like to speak ill of the other housewives for I don’t know them out of filming and it’s not fair to judge off a filmed scenerio. So, I always keep quiet. Thanks mom and dad for the good breeding. Oof.

I walked over to say hi to Khloe and we spoke about her family and Miami. I was then interrupted, and instead of trying to compete, I excused myself. Sometimes, it’s just not worth it. Thanks Khloe for having me, and we will definitely have dinner when you get back.

Btw, the Three Olives cherry is so yummy and potent. Nothing worse than cheap watery alcohol. This, I would actually drink again.

Viva Las Vegas

Last weekend I was invited to go to Las Vegas for the new Viva ELVIS by Cirque du Soleil show at Aria hotel. It was insane to be in the same theatre as Neal Patrick Harris, Christina Hendricks, Wynonna Judd, and Regis Philban all among other super well known celebs. When I got the chance to talk to them I forgot that in fact I did not know them, I have only seen them on TV. I had to laugh realizing they were complete strangers!

After the amazing show and private dinner for 35 at Sirio (who had the most delicious and fresh fish) we all went to HAZE and I hit a wall. It was 12pm Vegas time, and I couldn’t stay awake despite all the oxygen they pump into the casinos. Besides, the next day I had a book signing and I was more excited about that than endless Vodka and RedBull.

630am. Wham. I couldn’t sleep for the life of me. I was up, even my eyes were wide awake. Something is definitely in the air. I went on a run around Vegas and down the strip. It is definitely the adult Disney and I spotted a few places such as Diablos, that I decided I had to hit before leaving.

At City Center (which in my opinion is the chicest mall in the country), I had my Assouline book signing for my three books: In the Spirit of the Hamptons, the Bikini Book, and American Style. It was so flattering to have so many people come and celebrate my books and my Playboy cover. We even had a Playboy bunny as a waitress!

After the signing, I went directly to Diablos to try the Hurricane. Malibu, Tequila, and some special concoction. It was delicious and ginormous.

After a quick change, I went to the Venetian/Palazzo to the champagne bar to sit and relax for a second. Gambling stimulated me, and now yummy bubbly relaxed me.

I then went to Lavo for dinner. The Caesar salad was one of the best I have ever had. The seafood platter was never ending, and the seabass tasted as yummy as butter.

We then went to the club and danced like crazy in a packed club filled with the most beautiful dancers, two girls were dancing in a tub!!

Vegas was non stop excitement. I can’t wait to go back. Work hard, play hard.

Tim Gunn buys his 1st Playboy to Check out Kelly

Can you believe that a woman piqued Tim’s curiosity? Kudos to you for being that sexy, Kelly!

It’s completely normal that most men are buying the March issue of Playboy like hotcakes to catch Kelly Bensimon posing in the buff, but you might be shocked to find that the Real Housewives of New York star is SO hot that she even managed to convince Project Runway guru Tim Gunn to purchase the men’s mag for the first time ever!

“Tim Gunn just told @kikilet [Kelly] that she was the reason he bought his first Playboy ever!! Soo sweet!” a fan wrote on Kelly’s Twitter page Feb. 17, which she then re-tweeted.

Tim, 56, clearly thinks that Kelly makes the photos – artfully shot by ex-husband Gilles Bensimon – work. Though she’s nude, there are no gratuitous shots of her hoo-ha.

This is a huge compliment for you, Kelly! Tim thinks you’re haute AND hot!

Fashion Week Blog IV

Wednesday was my last day of fashion week at Bryant Park for I am off to Vegas for the opening of Elvis Cirque De Soleil in Vegas and a Playboy and book signing at the new Assouline store in the City Center.

I had a radio tour, which you basically talk to different radio stations in every city (how flattering!!!) to discuss Playboy and quickly got my hair blown out by uber stylist, Bradley Irion, who used Vive pro mousse by Loreal to make my hair shine (4.99).

I hopped a taxi, ran into the tents as the Anna Sui show was almost starting, and sat in my front row seat. Across from me was my dear friend and Andy Warhol muse, Baby Jane Holzer who is a great friend of Anna and Andrew Bolton, associate curator at the Costume Institute of Metropolitan Museum of Art. We all watched and were amazed at how well researched Anna’s bohemian collection was. From her amazing fragrance, accessories, and effortless hippie chic dresses, Sui knows her market. Supermodels strut down the runway in dresses that 60s rock icons Marianne Faithful, and Anita Pallenberg wished they could have worn.

I was so proud to wear one of Anna’s dresses. What an honor it is when the designers as you to wear their clothes.

As I left the tents, I ran into Tim Gunn. I was originally suppose to be on a fashion tv show with him before I was asked to ignite the 2nd season of RHNYC. He complimented me on Playboy and went as far to say that I was the new sexy and that he’s buying Playboy. I was so flattered by his genuineness.
